By passing the rigorous SQF Program, we continue to prove our commitment to manufacturing only the most safe, nutritious and quality pet products, just as we have over the last 25 years.
What is SQF?
The SQF Initiative has been addressing food safety and quality requirements since 1994. Their programs are recognized internationally by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) to certify high standards of food safety and quality for food manufacturer and production companies across all industry sectors. Our SQF certification means Redbarn’s manufacturing facilities have passed a stringent food safety and quality program.
Why does this matter?
With this certification, Redbarn has joined an elite group of manufacturers that are able to achieve and uphold our standards. This means that we must continue to exceed expectations and consistently improve in everything we do. SQF is not a requirement in the pet product industry. Certification in the pet industry means a company is highly dedicated to the safety and quality of their products.
Redbarn has a long history of diligent quality assurance practices. Even before SQF certification, our Quality Assurance team was exceeding industry standards by doing more than 3,500 tests a month on our products. Physical, chemical, and microbiological tests are performed daily while every batch of Redbarn is inspected and tested for safety and quality.
